2009-2010

·         ASFA dance students have attended the International Conference of Blacks in Dance in Philadelphia, PA

·         ASFA dance students have been selected to attend Summer Intensives at ABT in New York, NY, Tuscaloosa, SL, Orange County, CA, Austin, TX, and Detroit, MI; Other summer intensives include Nashville Ballet, Bates Dance Festival, Alabama Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance, and several others.

·         ASFA dance students have attended the Alabama Dance Festival where they auditioned for and received scholarships to many Summer Dance Intensives throughout the United States and Paris, France.

·         ASFA dance students have attended the National High School Dance Festival where they auditioned for and received several scholarship awards to College, University and Conservatory dance programs as well as Summer Dance Intensives throughout the United States.
