Four Alumni Hit the High Notes

In the next few weeks, four of ASFA's former Music Department vocalists will have lead roles in operas. Mary Katherine Whatley (ASFA 2010) will sing the title role in Lehar's "The Merry Widow" with UAB's opera company on November 15 and 16. Leah Doss and Bethany Orick (both ASFA 2010), along with Amberlyn Richardson (ASFA 2009), will sing the title roles (double cast) in Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel" with Samford Opera November 30-December 3. Well done, music alumni!
