The Board of Trustees of the Alabama School of Fine Arts met on August 17, 2021 in person and via video-conference, under Governor Ivey’s emergency Proclamation of August 13, 2021.  The Board of Trustees approved financial reports since their last meeting.  The Board deliberated and approved amendments to the upcoming Fiscal Year 2022 budget and the succeeding Fiscal Year 2023 budget request to be submitted.  The Board also deliberated and adopted the health and wellness policy, pending compliance with a meet and confer statute.

The Board heard from the President an admissions report, a description of AFSA’s outreach program, and AFSA’s response to the pandemic.  The Board heard from the Director Development a report on the AFSA Foundation budget and Foundation fundraising.  The Board heard from a Board employee on development of the website.
