Lucky 13: ASFA Wins 13 of the Alabama High School Literary Arts Awards

The ASFA Creative Writing Department has 12 students who received recognition from High School Literary Arts Awards (HSLAA), sponsored by the Alabama Writers' Forum. Four of those students received recognition in multiple categories.

The year-long program focuses on nurturing talent in high schools across Alabama. Competition categories are Creative Nonfiction, Fiction, Poetry, Senior Portfolio, and Literary Magazine. The judging panel is comprised of writing experts. See the awards won by ASFA students below, and join us in congratulating them on these acheivements!
