Linda Wenndt
Welcome to my home page!!
Biography: My name is Linda Wenndt. I have been a teacher for 23 years, 21 of those at ASFA. I currently teach Geometry with Data Analysis to 9th and 10th graders, Algebra 1 to 8-10th graders, and Financial Algebra/Personal Finance to 11th and 12th graders. My classroom is an active learning environment. I prefer dialogue to lecture and activity to dialogue. We have a lot to explore this year!
Membership:
I am active in the National Science Teacher's Association, National Council for Teachers of Mathematics, and the Council for Economic Educators. I am also a NGPF Changemaker and NGPF certified in Banking&Budgeting as well as Investing.
Education/Professional Experience:
I graduated from the ASFA Math and Science Program in 1995. I attended UAB where I earned a degree and certification to teach all sciences 7-12th grade. I later earned a degree in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology also at UAB. I also have certification to teach Math 7-12th grade.
