Laura is a Theatre Arts instructor, the Scenery and Lighting Designer for the ASFA Theatre Arts program and the Technical Director for the DJD Theater.

The ASFA Theatre Department's philosophy is that students should be exposed to all aspects of theatre in order to develop a true appreciation of what it takes to be a part of the theatre community. In order to expose TA Students to the design and production elements of theater, all of Laura's classes involve hands-on experience -- building, creating and exploring scenery, lighting, props, stage management and design. All of our productions are hands-on lab experiences where students can utilize their new skills. Scenery for ASFA productions is predominately built by students and all productions are staffed by students who have opportunities to stage manage our productions and serve as run crew.
